The Main Kitchen, Dining Area, Living Room, 2 Bedrooms w/ King Beds and 2 Bathrooms are on first level. The UPSTAIRS has SEPARATE ENTRY, Kitchenette, 1 Large OCEANFRONT Bedroom w/ King Bed & OCEANFRONT patio, 1 Small Room w/ set of Bunks (curtain as a door), 1 Full Bed (w/ curtain for privacy) & Deck. Upper Deck has out door lounge Set and Ocean View as well. Flat Screen TV’s in Family Room, Lower Master and Oceanfront Upper Bedroom!

Enjoy a stroll on the beach in front of the home or if the tide is up Moran State Beach is a few homes down where the sand meets the road. (There are stairs to the beach 2 homes down).

  The house was very comfortable. Great location to relax, take a stroll along the ocean walk, get breakfast burritos a couple walking blocks away, or just enjoy incredible waves from the deck. We have not stayed at the same rental twice but this is definitely a home we hope to return to.

  The views were amazing, and the short walk to the beach was awesome. The beach toys on site were super nice. That said, we had to wash all of the dishes before using as they were all dirty. We removed our shoes as instructed, but our feet all turned black from walking around the house. The hot water was scalding, so we had to be on high alert with the kids (and the hot and cold water taps were switched upstairs, which made this especially challenging with little kids).
  
  We had to buy paper towels, toilet paper and laundry detergent (no way to wash the towels without), but then found the washing machine was broken. The fire place didn't work, and we didn't want to mess with it as it was super dusty, and there was no fire wood for the fire pit outside. The upstairs wall heaters didn't work and had wires hanging out. The microwave was breaking, and dishwasher and fridge were super rusted out. We tried contacting property management, but received no response.

  The experience was okay. The view was great. The kitchen needs to be updated with better pans and sharp knives. The wheels on the bottom rack of the dishwasher need to be fixed. The refrigerator doesn't have storage in the door because those compartments are missing. The bunk beds are not in a room -- just a closet with a curtain door. It should be described as a 3 bedroom unit with a couple other curtained off spare beds.

  This home worked well for our group of 8 family members ages 6 to 76. Great to have a nice beach just five houses away. No driving, parking woes.
  We had a great time for our first venture away from home since March 2020.
  Some updates to fridge, dishwasher,lighting would be good, but the view and beach access compensated in great measure.

  Most beautiful, relaxing, vacation. The home is gorgeous and nicely laid out to have alone time if you choose or gather together. Shirt walk to a perfect little beach. Sunsets that never disappoint and everything you would need is supplied. Wish the upstairs was renovated as the downstairs is and would love to have a couple bikes but honestly it is a perfect vacation spot.

  The house was musty smelling. And the furniture could use an upgrade. The kitchen cushions were stained. All the outside lights did not work. Sheets had marks on them in one of the rooms. House is on a very busy street. For the upside. You can walk to the beach and the house is right on the water. Er saw sea otters and sea lions.also lots of surfers

  The location of this house was amazing! We saw surfers and sea life every morning. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck overlooking the ocean. Easy walk to 41st street shops and restaurants. Not really usable beach in front of house as tide was to high but main beach was a quick 5 house walk away. The house was quaint and beachy. Some parts could use some updating. Kitchen cabinets didn't close very well. The apartment upstairs had a musty smell when we first arrived but was better when we opened some windows. Loved falling asleep to the sounds of surf! Very peaceful views and sounds!

  I had all of my family stay in this wonderful house with AMAZING views! There were 8 adults and an infant. The 4 “single” adults, age 29-32 stayed upstairs in the separate attached unit with kitchenette, and our married daughter , her husband and infant, and my wife and I stayed downstairs.
  
  The place was clean, had all the needed amenities, and had a FABULOUS, wide outside deck to enjoy the Bay, the waves, and the lights of Santa Cruz in one direction, and across the Bay to Moss Landing and Monterey in the other direction.
  
  It was located a short walk from Pleasure Point and Capitola, and a 10 minute drive to downtown Santa Cruz. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!
  
  It was IDEAL for our family vacation!

  The location was very beautiful, no beach due to tide, this was disappointing.
  The deck cleanliness was not so good. Chairs are stained and fabric umbrellas were torn and infested with silverfish. Kitchen floor was dirty and some cooking utensils were Very old and rusted. Cabinets and drawers should be gone through to dispose of non usable products and utensils. It’s a B property with the potential of being an A.

  Great Family Vacation other than the Covid-19 issues we are all dealing with!! We did get some fising in and Surfing. Did the Wharf to Wharf route on Sunday even though race was cancelled. Margariteville, Zelda's and Seabrite Social were all great places to eat and drink!! Saw Sea Lions and Otters and Porpoises from our balcony and Whales on our fising trip.
  
  We have been making this Wharf to Wharf event a family vacation for close to 30 years!

  The beach house was just what we needed for a getaway. It was clean and organized. The views were spectacular. The house had all the necessary amenities. The beds were very comfortable. Easy access to the beach and a nearby convenience store. Beautifully decorated.   This place is a dream. The location is perfect and my family loved the lay out of the home. With the separate entries, but still connected by the side area, it allowed my children to feel independent but also safe within the compounds of the property. The room upstairs with the balcony is amazing to have a cup a coffee and watch the waves. We will definitely be back. The perfect beach house.
