Luxury Home in Dollar Point

This area is a nice, well kept and safe area- we have snow plow service too!

On the first floor is a huge deck off the open living room, dining and kitchen, vaulted ceilings, 2 bedroom suites with private baths and guest bedroom and bath. The second floor has a huge Pool table and Foosball room loft viewing out to the lake as well, a sun room with a double futon lakeside, the lakeside master suite and 5th bedroom suite with two more private decks and private baths. The master suite has a Jetted Jacuzzi Tub and Steam Shower. An extra small dining table perfect for children! Also avail. is a high chair and Pak n Play!

Huge fenced-in back yard fully landscaped with park-like lawn setting, built-in stainless steel BBQ with gas from the home, surrounded with river rock. 2-car garage (deep enough for a boat) with extra area along side, and parking in driveway for 4 more cars (plus street in summer). The home is finished with granite in the large, open gourmet kitchen and extraordinary island/bar. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances including Sub-Zero refrigerator and crisper drawers, large double Dacor gas range, vent hood, micro, dishwasher and two sinks.

All bathrooms are marble, glass enclosures, multiple sinks, extensive mirrors, quartzite rock floors. Most flooring in the home is wood, carpeted bedrooms. The entire home has hydronic heat. The fireplace is finished in hand picked large river rock and extends two stories high with seating across the front. Indirect and mood lighting throughout. Four of the bedrooms are spacious King suites. The fifth Queen bedroom has a bathroom directly across hall.

SMART TV's in every room, IHOME Speaker with Clock in each bedroom, Blue tooth speaker in Family Room.

The pool table room has a tournament size pool table and Fusball table. The home is set up for entertainment for everyone or just relax with a book in the Sun Room looking out to the lake.

In the summer go to a nearby beach or bike along the path into Tahoe City (2 miles) and beyond along the Truckee River or West Shore. Bike trails are abundant in the area. Try the bike lift at North Star for downhill . Hiking trails are endless and beautiful. Lake fishing companies out of Tahoe City if you don’t have your own boat, and of course all the lake activities including Stand Up Paddle Boarding.

In the winter you are located minutes away from the world class ski resorts of Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and North Star. Dollar Point and the location of the home have great sun exposure making access much easier in the winter. There are numerous shops in Tahoe City and fine restaurants all along the North Shore. Casinos are also about 15-20 minutes away.

  We had a wonderful time. The home was large enough for 12 adults and we utilized all the space inside of the home. My only disappointments were the furniture was old and outdated and although we didn’t use the garage once we opened it to put the van there (didn’t fit) it was very messy and cluttered.

  This is a beautifully designed home that when originally built and decorated was certainly very lovely with high quality amenities. Skylights in the master bedroom and bath were great. The design of the home is outstanding, although it is a bit maze-like getting to the downstairs secondary bedrooms but the offset to this that they were private. The radiant heating was wonderful; the slate bathroom floors were warm and cozy during our stay in January. The kitchen appliances were nice- especially the in-cabinet refrigerator and freezer drawers that supplemented the regular refrigerator. The location is wonderful. Nice views of the lake through the trees and lakefront houses directly across the street. Neighborhood is beautiful with private access to an outstanding private beach and dock and stunning panoramic lake and mountain views just a block down the street from the house. However, the living room furniture, rugs, window coverings and bedding are all pretty tired and worn. The bathrooms were at one time top quality but the jet tubs and showers are showing their age with dingy jets and bathroom hardware. The dishes were chipped, no placemats, and the built in coffee maker did not work. No placemats. No bathroom tissue or paper towels. No dishwasher soap. The quality of the furnishings were good when it was first done, but now needs upgrading. The living room rugs, pillows, couches very worn and need replacing. Time for a re-do if it is to be considered a luxury property at the price being charged. The architecture is lovely with lots of light. All but one of the bedrooms has a bathroom and that is great for privacy. Beds were comfortable, not saggy. All the notes and keep out labels on closets, dressers, cabinets, etc. was a bit off-putting. House was overall pretty clean except for cobwebs hanging from the high ceilings which admittedly are hard to reach in order to clean. Be prepared for lots of stairs. Overall- a beautiful home.

  The house is beautiful from the outside but has not been maintained. I took pictures. Huge crack in granite in front of sink, broken sink faucet, broken blind leading to deck, water damage in front of sinks and fridge, scratch marks all around beautiful wood floor, deck umbrella broken. Things missing that were described in house rules, two keys,but no cards for entry. Very poorly maintained and when electricity went out we called local contact for help finding flashlights and candles and he was out of town and told us the bathrooms had nightlights of course they needed electricity, so no help at all. For the amount of money paid we were very dissatisfied.we have used Verbo for many homes for our family Oct. week but I hope the process of checking out rentals improves.

  We have rented this beautiful home for several years. It is perfect for our family with four master bedrooms, another bedroom and a loft. The kitchen is large and has everything we need. The family room is big with a wonderful large TV that was great for Olympics watching this year. And the location is the best. Located close to the beach and within walking distance of the fun bakery nearby. We love this house and hope to continue to spend two weeks there every summer!

  My Family and I had a great week at the Dollar Point Home. There was plenty of room for everyone. Having such a big open entertaining space was perfect for our group. Everyone enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen and playing pool upstairs while watching TV. It was great house, and we would love to stay again.

  This is the fourth time I have rented this beautiful house in Lake Tahoe. It has an amazing location, a wonderful floor plan including four master bedrooms, and another queen room with detached bath and a fabulous living area and kitchen. I would consider it one of the best rentals in Tahoe.
